Hasbara Fellowships

What the application asks for

• Submit the Grant Request Form on their site
• Pick the grant type: Standard Programming, Israel Peace Week, Strategic Partnership, or Other
• Your name, email, and university or college
• Amount requested from Hasbara, total cost of the program, and the program date
• Program name, the groups involved, and a description of what will happen
• Supporting materials if you have them — letters of support, resumes of key personnel, or receipts
• Ask for the current funding range; Hasbara does not publish a figure

After the event — what you owe them

• Submit the grant reimbursement form within 14 days of the event
• Outline how the funds were used
• Confirm any receipt requirements in the award notice

Who may qualify

• Hasbara Fellows, student-led Israel clubs, and campus professionals
• The initiative educates about Israeli culture, society, politics, technology, or other facets of life in Israel
• The initiative engages diverse students and student groups from your college or university
• The initiative promotes positive relationships, open-minded dialogue, and academic enrichment
• Special consideration for initiatives involving multiple pro-Israel stakeholders

What they offer

• GrantCampus microgrants Rolling support for initiatives that support Israel on campus, in four types: Standard Programming, Israel Peace Week, Strategic Partnership, and Other. The amount is not published — you name your own figure on the request form. Once approved, Hasbara staff advise on strategy and funding.
• ProgramFree advocacy training seminars Bookable on request: Communicating for Israel, BDS: How to Prep and Win, Strategic Public Engagement and Tabling, Defeating Anti-Israel Propaganda, and Advocating for Israel Online.
• ProgramIsrael Program $249 plus a $400 refundable deposit returned after you complete two semesters as a campus Fellow. Hasbara puts the value at over $3,600, with flights, housing, and programming subsidised. Open to undergraduates with at least two semesters remaining after the trip; selection is competitive and explicitly weighs your social-media footprint.

• ResourceLegal tools with the Brandeis Center Report an incident through the Brandeis Legal JIGSAW intake form, consult with the legal team on your rights, then build an action plan with Hasbara and Brandeis Center staff.

Campuses they list as active

Hasbara Fellowships publishes 106 campuses it is active on. Being on the list is not a requirement and being absent is not a rejection — their own page notes it keeps changing. Treat it as a signal that someone nearby already knows them.
